Airless Spray Bitumen

A thixotropic plasticised coating based on a high standard bitumen and pigmented with a lamella filler, giving excellent waterproofing properties and a tough film.

Key features are:
• Meets the requirements of BR Specification 70/43
• High build application (up to 200 microns per coat), reduces time and cost
• Gives twice the film thickness compared to standard bitumen
• Non drip - reduces runs or sagging for better finish quality
• Good impact resistance
• Plasticised coating gives flexibility

Typical uses are:
• Longer term protection of steel on bridge undersides, under roofs etc.
• Protection of masonry surfaces in industrial atmospheres.
• Waterproofing concrete in damp areas e.g. tunnel rings etc.
• Undersealing cars and lorries.

Usually a one-coat system.
