MMA Methacrylate resin-based products are solvent free, cold curing materials designed for surface protection.

The curing mechanism differs from many other generic classes of thermo-setting resin, as a CATALYST/INITIATOR, in the form of Dibenzoyl Peroxide powder, is added to initiate the free radical reaction which leads to cross-linking of polymer chains, thereby providing the characteristically high level of mechanical properties associated with Methacrylate resin products.

Although MMA Methacrylate resin-based products are comparatively straight forward to use they are classified as hazardous substances under current legislation and, with that in mind, guide-lines have been drawn up to allow minimal risk during application. Please ask for further information
