Plicote System – corrosion protection of steelwork; excellent for refurbishment of Plastisol and similar cladding

Plicote Zinc Phosphate Primer

A medium build acrylated rubber primer with good corrosion resistance on ferrous structures. For use in aggressive chemical, U.V. and marine environments.
When aggressive exposure conditions prevail, Plicote Zinc Phosphate Primer as part of the Plicote Acrylated Rubber System gives ideal anticorrosive properties to metalwork, superstructures, hulls and agricultural equipment. Can be applied down to 0’C. Due to the mild solvent content, this product is ideal for overcoating and repairing previously painted surfaces with minimal risk of film softening.
Use as primer when preparing Plastisol for recoating with Plicote HB Finish.

Plicote HB Finish – Ideal as a product to Recoat Plastisol Cladding

A highly durable coating based on acrylated rubber, giving good weathering properties and adhesion.
Plicote Finish is also suitable for direct application onto weathered Plastisol cladding. Patch prime with Plicote Zinc Phosphate primer
Used in aggressive exposure conditions, the product performs well on most types of metal surfaces.
Where anticorrosion protection and adhesion are required in aggressive environments. May be applied to most metal surfaces. Ideal for agricultural equipment, fabrications, superstructures, roofs and ships topsides. Due to the mild solvent content this product is ideal for overcoating and repairing previously painted surfaces with minimal risk of film softening.
