Rust Converters

Rust is the reddish-brown oxide coating formed on iron or steel by the action of oxygen and moisture.
It's that ugly, reddish-brown, corrosive stuff that eats away at our cars...our old steel gutters and downpipes...and in short it's that miserable stuff that ruins ferrous metal objects before their time.

Vactan - A water borne rust converting complex that neutralises the corrosion (rust) process, passivates the surface and then further protects the surface by forming a film with low permeability to water vapour and oxygen.

Konvertex - Grey in colour when applied, but turning to a darker shade as it 'kills' and secures rust, leaving a smooth, matt finish. It is an ideal product for the treatment and cure of rusty iron and steel and is suitable for interior and exterior use.

Bitumastic^® Coloured Solution is a reinforced advanced modified alkyd with added rust inhibitor specially formulated for aggressive environments, which provides a tough resilient barrier, impermeable to air and moisture, effectively sealing out corrosion.
The product has the benefit of being a one coat system (no primer or undercoat necessary).
It is economical with excellent hiding power, lead free colours and no hazardous solvents.
