Rust Converter
Vactan

VACTAN is a rust converter that neutralises the corrosion process by converting the rust into a metallo-organic complex which passivates the surface. It then further protects the surface by forming a film with low permeability to water vapour and oxygen.

VACTAN rust converter can be used in the following areas:
Manufacturing, Agriculture, Automotive, Local Authority, Road Haulage,
Chemical, Marine, Heavy Engineering, Building and Construction, DIY, etc.

VACTAN

VACTAN rust converter has been designed for application by spray and brush.

VACTAN can be applied over damp surfaces and dries quickly under suitable temperature and humidity conditions.

VACTAN will be touch dry in approximately 10 minutes at 20'C.

VACTAN may be coated when cured with any conventional paint using brush, roller or spray.

VACTAN has been tested and certified as fit for use for the use for the carriage of grain and use in potable water systems. It may also be used in sensitive foodstuff areas.

VACTAN is non-flammable and can be regarded as essentially non-hazardous under normal use.
